The purpose of this research is to understand the effects of group size and personality on process and results in the group brainstorming supported environment. The two independent variables are group size and personality, and dependent variables are brainstorming process (satisfaction level, participation level), and results (idea amount, idea quality). The research method employed in this paper was laboratory experiment. Data was collected from fifty-four college students. Results showed that group size didn`t have a significant effect on ebrainstorming results, but had a significant effect on e-brainstorming satisfaction level. Moreover, personality had a significant effect on both e-brainstorming process and results. People with extroversive personality held higher e-brainstorming process (including satisfaction and participation level) than people with introversive personality do. On the other hand, people with introversive personality generated more ideas as well as better quality. Results also indicated that e-brainstorming process was positively correlated with e-brainstorming results.
