Abstract:	本文從《婦人畫報》為探討女性扮裝的起點，不只宏觀考察三○年代的環境，諸如新文化運動的倡導、抗戰時期的上海景況、域外文化引入東方的迴響等;且微觀勾連報刊宗旨與扮裝的關係，當扮裝成為消費商品，如何解釋其意義？權且從兩方面進行討論：首先，取徑於巴特勒性別扮裝理論，分析《婦人畫報》上的扮裝身體帶有挑戰男性和社會性別的意義，勘破服裝本身隱有桎梏性的話語;其次，從當時文化語境關之，在抗戰時期，強調男女救國、平等的機制，扮裝因而扣合著民族意識。循此，女性扮裝挾帶摩登時尚與政治情感的雙重視野，而蘊含複雜隱喻。 The present paper explores Shanghai women’s cross-dressing in 1930s. Via Judith Butler’s theory of gender studies, the present paper proposes to investigate gender politics and read female body as performance in Women Pictorial that challenges cross social codes and patriarchal orders. On the other hand, viewed in the light of Chinese cultural/historical context, the present paper attempts to highlight the zeitgeist of Sino-Japanese war time to examine the national consciousness.
