    Title: 生產技術僵固性、產業環境確定性與企業競爭策略之關係

    Abstract: 本研究提出「企業選擇適應模式」，認為企業策略必須配合其產業內所有不可控制之外在因素，其中最具關鍵作用之產業因素即是「生產技術僵固性」及「產業環境確定性」。生產技術僵固性是研究者所提出之概念，意指產業內基本生產技術缺少變化或多元性之程度；而產業環境確定性意指產業內廠商對市場控制力及對原料控制力總和之高低。本研究推論，有效之企業競爭策略必須要能配合產業內生產技術僵固性與產業環境確定性之高低，換言之，不同產業之企業最佳競爭策略類型應該有所不同。本研究並推論，(1)產業環境確定性高低決定企業之「分散風險策略」，包括「分散市場風險」及「分散原料風險」兩項。當產業環境確定性高時，因企業經營風險較低，分散風險策略較不重要；反之，當產業環境確定性低時，因企業經營風險較高，企業若能在分散風險上有較高作為者，其經營績效應該較佳。(2)生產技術僵固性高低決定企業創造環境控制力策略，包括「創造市場控制力」、「創造原料控制力」、「生產技術效率」及「產品技術創新」等四項。當生產技術僵固性較高時，因企業間之競爭優勢在於生產成本之降低一，故企業在生產技術效率、創造市場控制力及創造原料控制力三項策略上有較高作為者，企業經營績效較佳；但當生產技術僵固性較低時，企業競爭優勢不在於生產成本之降低，而在於產品功能之創新，因此在產品技術創新策略上有較高作為者，績效較佳。本研究以台灣十二個產業內之企業作實證研究，研究結果大抵支持本研究之推論，足證本而研究之「企業選擇適應模式」具有相當之應用價值。
