    Abstract: 我國傳統教育制度之發展,自唐宋以來即相當完備,有明確的系統及各項完善的學制規定。至明太祖元璋承續元祚統有天下後,十分重視教化工作,並極力剷除蒙古文化之影響,大力恢復漢唐盛世之文物典章制度。在教育制度上,除承襲唐宋之舊,更在諸多謀臣的策劃下有超越前代之處,例如在學校入學、升級、教學、考核、實習、訓育、管理、給假、以及科舉制度方面皆有詳細的規定;同時有明一代對學生待遇之優渥及管束禁制之嚴緊,亦非前所代能比擬。總之,有明一代在教育制度上有其燦然可觀之處,而本文即就教育行政制度、學校制度、以及科舉制度三方面分別加以探討說明。
