    Abstract: 本文分三部分：第一部分闡述陰陽及陰陽合德這些概念的起源：視陰陽相合為宇宙的兩種創生力量及萬物根源的想法始於道家，而後為儒家所吸收。第二部分雖短，卻非常重要，它指出中國哲學中陰陽合德所代表的是：宇宙萬物均由陰與陽二種相反相成的二元結合而成。結合的方式或者是兩個階段（如日與夜）的更替，或者是兩種相反因素結合為一體。第三部分是本文的主幹：在中國傳統哲學中，陰陽合德包含了天地人之間的關係，因此有宇宙論與人類學意義。但最高的陽與陰──天與地既被認為宇宙的終極根源，所以亦具神學意義。本文對陰陽合德這三重意義的哲學問題提出評估。
