    Abstract: 口語文法中有關動詞分類及活用乃完全承襲古典文法，在語言隨著時代的變化之下，其內容之矛盾不合理，已為語言學家教育學家所詬病。例如「未然形」有2種活用形式，「連用形」亦如此。「終止形」和「連體形」名稱雖異，卻共用1種活用形式。「假定形」和「命令形」亦有爭議。本文針對以上諸缺失，站在１種名稱１種活用形式的合理化角度，以矩陣方式配合50音表，嘗試提出一套更有條理化的動詞活用理論。並且透過強烈視覺形像的「第Ⅱ類」動詞母音活用語尾「i/e」的圖形作用，從助動詞的各種形態判斷出動詞的分類。
