Abstract:	米歇．福柯(Michel Foucault)是影響當代思潮至鉅的哲學家，其對權力／知識的研究觀點，標示出他處理當代思潮危機的歷程。其對馬克斯主義的反省，對權力的重新界定，並針對當代社會的權力特質的解析，是福柯成為「後現代主義」重鎮之一的關鍵。但福柯「反理論」的研究策略，若從其解構效用來看，確實開啟了另一種審視歷史及社會演變過程中權力運作的軌跡，並對知識的本質，目的，及方法等均提出與以往典範迥然不同的思考路逕，但是這樣的「解構效用」亦同時遭遇到對其「理論」假設及「規範」基礎不足的質疑。本文並以傳播研究為例，首先比較福柯的權力／知識觀點與傳統意識形態研究、以「主控意識形態構連」分析為主的文化研究、以及八零年代以來，文化研究者以多義性觀點發展的電視閱聽人分析等三者間的異同。然後說明福柯「反中心」的研究策略應用於多義觀點的閱聽人分析，由於缺乏主體理論及規範觀點的討論，使得文化研究流於美學而非批判的範疇。因此，本文指出，如何構連權力／知識觀點與社會批判面向，是亟待探討的課題。
