    Abstract: 有關廣告與社會之間互動的探討存在已久;Stephen Fox在其廣告史經典著作「製造影象的行業」(The Mirror Makers)裡曾經指出:美國文化與社會的演進,遵循著一條充斥樂觀主義、功利導向和金權崇拜的軌跡;而上述這些名詞--誠如許多銳智觀察家的描述,正是19世紀廣告萌育的溫床。
