    Abstract: 人物長久以來都是中國敘事文學敘述時的核心綱領，而物件也在文人投入編創的話本、章回小說裡具多元的作用，成為功能性物象，這二者在敦煌通俗敘事文學之中，其實也有十足的展現，惜未為學界所注意，尤其是後者。本專題研究計畫係多年期的最後一年，整體而言，較大的價值與獨特性，即是從物件的視角來研究敦煌通俗敘事文學，另外，以印刷本、文人敘事的角度來看，若干仍未臻成熟以人物為中心的文本，反而可借之來了解講述者在最初的編創脈絡與過程。這些對拓殖唐五代宋初通俗敘事文學的文學意象、敘事美學及古代物質民俗文化之研究，有一定的貢獻。具體而言，本計畫此一年度有二篇論文之發表：一為〈〈韓朋賦〉禽鳥敘事之承衍與民俗象徵〉（「第十一屆賦學國際學術研討會」，中國大陸陝西師範大學文學院、延安大學文學院，2014.8.7-11。）；二為〈神變、物件與敦煌本《搜神記》〉（《出土文獻研究視野與方法》第五輯，2014.11。）。
