    Abstract: 讀白居易詩文集，可發現他經常檢閱自己的創作並提出評論。這類記錄，可總括稱之為「自我批評」。本文即是特就白居易對自己詩歌創作的「自我批評」，提出討論。討論的程序分成兩部分：一是梳理其「自我批評」的表述形式，旨在呈現相關資料的豐富性，並作為後續論述的基礎。二是探究其「自我批評」所涉及的重要觀念內涵和意義。就表述形式而言，本文發現白居易的「自我批評」記述甚為多元，遍及以詩論詩、詩題、詩序、詩中之自注、自撰墓誌銘、與友人之通信、自編文集之序。至於白居易「自我批評」所涉及的重要觀念，如其關注讀者之反應所流露的「知音」觀，其以「階段性劃分」、「編年」方式編排文集所流露的自傳意味，乃至「以詩立名」、「窮工辯證」等觀念，都有重要之意義。本文最後除了總結全篇成果，尚進一步思考「自我批評」後續研究的可能性。This study wants to probe the being, forms, intensions and meanings of the behavior about Bai Ju-yi`s ＂self- criticism＂. In Bai`s statements, we find that he paid many attentions to the comments from other readers, and his works look like ＂autobiography＂ after compile his own collected works in person several times.Moreover, we find Bai Juyi considered himself to be a ＂poet＂ which is defined by not only the opinion of ＂kongyin＂ but also ＂poverty-stricken life＂ along with ＂great literature＂. The above opinions play very important roles in the history of Chinese literary criticism, and they are worth academia`s special concern. In the last section, we also review the writing methods from the literatures about the history of Chinese literary criticism and bring some examinations.
