    Abstract: 現今的商業環境詭譎多變,相較以往愈來愈不容易預測和掌握。面對此一挑戰企業的因應之道,即是依據自身的核心能力重整組織、資源調整以及人事安排等,以提高其自身競爭力。簡言之就是要隨時審思內外部局勢變化及強化自身核心能力,做好相對應的變革管理。


    Nowadays, business environment changes so dramatically, it can’t be predicted easily like before, how to overcome this kind of situation? The highly possible recommended way is to adapt us to fit this environment change. In short, the solution is a kind of change management to re-structure the organization, re-allocate the resources and select right team to have company be more competitive based on its core competences. However understanding this concept is one thing, how to perform and make it happen is another thing.

    Change management is not a thing can be implemented easily in everywhere although most of companies are aware of this importance. Many of them are willing to change, however lack of ways of doing it resulted in either stop changing in the process or failure at the end of this process.

    In fact, change management is not a process or task only, but also related to the willingness of human being as well as the trust within team members. One of key success factors is how to motivate and create a working environment for employees, to have them be willing to write down intangible “know how” in mind, then share “know how” with team and apply “know how” in daily operation. This case study revealed how a company by doing KM (Knowledge Management) to build up a working platform and link all different functional team cooperates with each other under this platform. Furthermore going through a series of KM training & activities to establish the trust and better communication in company.

    As a result, employees tend to be open mind and willing to learn/share what they learned with team through this KM program. This study also observed some relationships between change management and knowledge management. It’s helpful for senior management to phase in many “change management” tasks to enhance the competitiveness while doing KM. The author also identified the correlation between KM and change management in this case study.
