Title:	量測導向的SCTP路徑選擇策略與效能評估

Abstract:	隨著網際網路以及電腦科技的快速發展，TCP與UDP都開始出現了某種程度上的侷限性，這兩種傳輸方式逐漸地開始無法滿足現在網路環境的需求，所以IETF在2000年10月制定了一個新的傳輸層通訊協定—SCTP，它提供了multi-homing的機制，讓使用者能夠在連線建立之後可以動態地切換不同的網路路徑來傳輸資料，並且在切換過程中不需要中斷原有的通訊與服務，甚至在交遞(Handover)時察覺不出任何變化。然而，原先SCTP 在multi-homing上設計的概念，只是為了增加連線建立之後的可靠度，造成在路徑的交遞上需耗費較長的時間，而使整體的效能降低，尤其在傳輸即時性的資料時，這樣的方式是不適合的。本論文的目標就是提出透過比較路徑與路徑的RTT(Round Trip Time)來做為是否要更換路徑的依據，透過這樣的方式能夠能降低原先SCTP所採用的更換路徑機制所需要的時間，進而提升網路效能，我們將所提幾種方法與SCTP的作法於網路模擬器NS-2上作效能的評估與比較。
