Abstract:	近年來，全球網際網路使用人數激增。根據統計，目前TANet經常使用人數超過80 萬人，在今年全國中小學完成網路建置後，整體使用人數，很快地將再隨之昇高。進幾年來，TANet使用人次的增加，遠遠超過網路建設的成長，網路頻寬的合理應用，無形中就變得更加重要的課題。另一方面，諸如 www 之類的 killer application，佔掉多數可用頻寬，相對而言，造成許多傳統應用受到擠壓。例如，有一些從國外寄來的信件，可能會拖上一天以上才會進來。同樣地，往國外寄送的 E-mail 往往要經過好幾個小時，甚至好幾天才能送到目的地。如果我們再深入分析，就可以發現，這裏面是有一些可以改善的空間。本研究的主題，就是嘗試透過網路頻寬分流系統的建立，和一些相關 DNS 系統的配合規劃，希望以相對經濟的花費，來建立一個高效率的 E-mail 組合系統。
