    Abstract: Gigabit交換路由器 (switch routers) 除了具備高傳輸速率之外，並有全功能的路由和交換能力，特別是可達線速 (wire-speed) 之 IP/IPX 單播 (unicast) 與群播 (multicast) 路由能力，因此極適合作為具有高頻寬需求之多媒體即時應用之傳輸平台。本論文對Gigabit交換路由器在流量統計、虛擬區域網路 (Virtual LANs)、ACL (Access Control List) 存取控制、過濾 (filtering) 及埠鏡射 (port mirror) 等功能進行測試，以瞭解其在實際運作時之效能。
