Title:	為RSVP而設計之高效率資源保留樣式 An Efficient Resource Reservation Style for RSVP

Abstract:	RSVP(Resource Reservation Protocol) 已漸被公認是一種必要的傳送「服務品質(QoS)」需求的網路協定，其目的是將QoS需求動態的通知各網路節點，以便保留適當的資源。RSVP設計了三種資源保留樣式，分別是：Fixed-Filter(FF)、Shared-Explicit(SE)和Wildcard-Filter(WF)，來處理各種溝通模式的需求。然而我們發現此三種保留樣式，不足以將溝通模式的QoS需求完整的告知每一網路節點，因而可能導致嚴重的資源浪費，而影響網路的使用效率。有鑑於此，我們提出一套更有效率的保留樣式，此保留樣式能完整的將QoS需求傳達至每一網路節點，使每一節點做到最佳的資源保留，因此完全免除了資源浪費的困擾，而所付出的運算與通訊代價則十分有限。我們模擬了在TANet 2的部分網路架構下，一套分級式遠距教學系統的運作的情形。其結果驗證了我們所提資源保留樣式的優越性。
