    Abstract: 在藝術與人文的領域中,二十世紀的是個「主義」充斥的世紀,每個流派各有主張,而每個後起之流派都意欲辯證,甚至否定,先前的路線。這百年間的多元變化前所未見,呈現了眾聲喧譁的景象,相較於其它世紀的流派,是一般學生比較陌生的部份。另外,傳統上在藝術與人文的學習偏重於個別科目的學習,學生難窺藝術的全貌及其精神。藝術是相通的,在音樂、美術、戲劇裡更是如此。在數位學習的時代裡,透過網路進行各種學習已成為一種趨勢,而商業化的遊戲平台經營通常目的是讓消費者進行休閒娛樂而存在,另一類型則為教育的練習式遊戲或線上課程,都無法兼顧完全的趣味性與較高層次的教育內涵。此研究製作運用建構主義策略,運用遊戲機制,然後將二十世紀藝術與人文流派思維為基本遊戲故事內容,研發整合成為一個趣味性高的遊戲型探索學習平台。期冀此研究製作能夠幫助學生了解二十世紀藝術的流派及其思維,並且刺激國內線上遊戲業者有效應用教育理念於遊戲製作。此研發成果目前公佈在下面網站上與大家分享-http://artsnsc.tmue.edu.tw/2006/。
    Arts and Humanities of the 20th century were exposed to a number of competing philosophies much more than those of earlier centuries. Later philosophies tried to refute the claims of earlier ones and the rate of change in philosophical thinking has never before happened at such an accelerated pace. From the perspective of an artist or composer, the philosophical market place appeared very crowded indeed.For the students of art, drama, and music it became difficult to see a coherent picture, compared to earlier centuries. In our current e-learning era, learning networks have become more popular. But they have to compete with commercial game networks that are exclusively targeted for leisure entertainment. The existing education software or on-line curriculum often cannot be both interesting and at the same time satisfy higher level education needs.This research production adopts the constructionism as strategy, and utilizes game modules with contents from the 20th century Arts & Humanities philosophy to become an educational game platform. We expect that this production can help students to gain a better understanding of 20th century Arts and Humanities, and also that this model will give commercial game developers an inspiration for a new class of learning games.
