    Title: 由一個實例討論大眾傳播研究的新途徑－實驗研究法

    Abstract: 大眾傳播重視科學和系統的步驟，所謂的系統性就是在研究過程中必須根據下述步驟：（一）確定研究目的；（二）確立研究理論和假說；（三）研究方法的設計；（四）結論和未來研究的建議。而科學性則是強調研究的客觀（objectiveness）、可靠性（reliability）、正確性（validity）。

    而實驗研究法在大眾傳播研究上的價值與特質，正如以上所說，大眾傳播是針對現實問題謀求客觀而正確的解決方法；因此，因果關係（causal relationship）是大眾傳播研究主要的目標，透過傳播實踐研究法則是尋求因果模式（cause-effect model）的主要方法。

    實驗研究法的主要特質如下：（一）簡化因素模式；（二）控制和實驗步驟；（三）統計分析；（四）交互作用。

    本文以「電影一名研討實驗研究法的應用：電影的發展」來驗證實驗研究法在大眾傳播研究上的應用，發現大學生對於不同類型的電影有不同的反應，但不足以驗證人們對於電影譯名會有先入為主的觀念。
