    Abstract: 本文是以「二級傳播理論」與「採納新事物過程理論」作為理論基礎，以瞭解「家庭計劃」在台北市的推行情況，並且檢討其得失利弊與提出改進之道。研究顯示：(1)婦女的社會背景越高，越贊成家庭計劃，也越積極實行該計劃；(2)婦女接觸的大眾媒介越多，越贊成家庭計劃，也越積極實行計劃；(3)婦女的現代性態度越強，越贊成家庭計劃，也越積極實行；(4)婦女的發展價值取向越強，越贊成家庭計劃，也越積極實行。因此，本研究肯定大眾傳播在家庭計劃的角色，而最有效的傳播時間是晚上七點至九點的電視劇節目、中午的音樂廣播節目、電影文藝片、國語節目、報紙的社會新聞版、綜合性雜誌。
