采田福地位於新竹竹北新社，名稱由來即因有供奉土地公（福地）的關係而來，也就是番人的土地公廟。由於土地公信仰的關係，因此產生了人與番的民族邊界，人與番彼此之間各自有祭拜的對象（竹塹社人七姓土地公與七姓祖先兩者都拜；外人只拜土地公，不拜七姓祖先）。另一方面，采田福地展現的民族邊界還有拜拜、語言與民俗，以及節日與空間的邊界。本文即根據這些民族邊界的指標，探討采田福地民族邊界的發展。 The Barbarian’s Fortune Land is located in the Hsin She of Chubei city, Hsinchu county.
