    Abstract:   在台灣傳統的中小型企業中,企業的基本運作幾乎都是以人治為主,但當公司規模成長到一定程度後,人治的管理方式往往會出現許多問題,導致公司效率不彰。此時,專業經理人應該去思考公司需要導入什麼樣的系統來幫助其提高管理效果,並使得公司的資源能發揮最大效用。
      再者,傳統的中小型企業在面臨導入新系統的組織變革時,往往會使習慣舊制度的老員工出現抗拒,使公司內部整合不易。因此,如何將變革的資訊透明化,使公司全體員工上下一心,共同為變革努力,則考驗著老闆與員工雙方的智慧。
      本研究以個案研究方式為主,選擇台灣的工具機零件製造商為個案公司,經由訪談個案公司總經理,了解個案公司是如何進行企業流程再造,過程中遇到的困難與挑戰,以及新系統所帶來的效益,作為其它中小企業的借鏡。
      The basic operation of traditional small and medium enterprises in Taiwan is mostly managed by man. However, when an enterprise has developed into a certain scale, an enterprise ruled by man will often encounter many problems, which will consequently make the operation of an enterprise less efficient. Thus, a professional manager has to figure out what kind of management system to introduce into an enterprise to help improve the management efficiency of an enterprise and exploit fully the resource of an enterprise.
      A traditional small or medium enterprise will have to face organizational change when introducing a new management system into the enterprise. Yet, the organizational change will often be resisted by senior employees who are used to the original system, so the resistance of senior employees will make it hard to unite all divisions in the enterprise. Therefore, how to make information transparent during organizational change to make all employees united and work together through the changes depends on the wisdom of both the employer and employees.
      The present paper is based on a case study. A company, which manufactures components of machine tools, is chosen as the case. Through the interviews with the general manager of this company, this paper can help to understand how to conduct business process re-engineering, the difficulties and challenges that will occur during the process, and the benefits brought by a new system. With all these results, this paper is hoped to offer other small or medium companies some future reference.
