    Abstract: 為了落實大學自主，引導各大學建立完善自辦外部評鑑機制，在完成第一週期系所評鑑與校務評鑑的基礎下，教育部於2012年7月17日訂頒「教育部試辦認定大學校院自我評鑑結果審查作業原則」，符合申請資格之大學，其自辦外部評鑑機制及結果經教育部認定者，可申請免接受同類型評鑑，希望藉此將品質保證與持續改善的思維內化於大學組織文化中。
