    Abstract: トランプ政権の登場は第 ７代大統領アンドリュー・ジャクソン的 な政治が復活したことを意味する。 米国は戦争と貿易を除いては外 部世界に関与しなくなる。現代の君主となった習近平にとって、 内 向きとなった米国は好都合である。 米国が中国の内政に干渉してく ることはなくなった。また、米国が国際的関与から撤退したため、 国際社会における中国の存在は相対的に大きくなった。しかし、 君 主制の中国は政治体制としての魅力に欠け 、「米国 の平和（パック ス・アメリカーナ ）」を 置き換えるほどの国際性を持たない。大国の 君主は危険な存在である。彼は無謀な政策を強行しがちであるし、 主権の確保と称して戦争を発動する可能性がある。愛国主義者ジャ クソンもまた、米国市民の利益を守るためには戦争をためらわなか った。米中両国は共に軍備拡大に邁進している。米中関係はまこと に危険な状態にあると言わざるを得ない。
