Title:	大眾傳播媒介之變革與未來

Abstract:	以往我們是以媒介在過去美好日子中的表現，來對年輕一代介紹新聞學與大眾傳播學，但目前已經有人漸漸脫離這種取向。舉例來說，目前對大眾傳播未來之研究，已經日前受到重視，本文針對報紙、雜誌和書籍、收音機與電影及錄音唱片、電視等幾項媒介作介紹。就現有報紙來說，印刷方法和紙張正在不停改進，而電讀（teletext）系統與電傳視訊（viewdata）系統則是對於報紙來說最大的變革，替報紙帶來的雙向交流的可能。而在雜誌和書籍方面，專業化與個人化是這兩種媒介未來發展的主要特色。目前很多人正利用新的技術，以更有效率的方式來編組資料，加以印刷後，供應高度專門化的閱聽人。收音機、電影和唱片也將成為高度專門化的媒介。就一般來說，由於電子科技的發展，將會繼續改變廣播媒介，尤其是微處理機（microrocessors）和各種設備的加速迷你化，將大大減少各種機器的大小重量及其複雜性。未來將改變最多的，可能就是電視了，電視是所有大眾媒介中影響人們思想觀念和行為模式最銳利的武器，目前的發展模式將朝以下四種前進：1. 有線電視（cable TV），2. 雙線或互動電視（two-way or interactive TV），3. 直接衛星廣播（direct satellite broadcast），4. 訂閱電視（subscription television）。
