    The Bibliographic Control on Networked Information Resources

    Abstract: 目前網際網路已存有許多蒐尋器，但是似乎仍然無法有效控制這類資源。然而圖書館長期以來所應用的各式書目控制方法（如分編作業）是否仍然適用於整理此類資源，仍值得圖書館深入研究。因而在圖書館界亦著手嘗試整理這類資源，同時進行著不同的研究計畫以找出適用的方法。本文試從圖書館書目控制觀點探討網路資源之書目控制，文共分為下列八部份：網路資源之定義與範圍、網路資源極需整理之原因、書目控制作業環境之改變、作業程序要點、實務作業問題、未來的注意事項、工作方向的改變與結語。
    Along with the popularity of computer networks, the networked information resources are proliferated. There`re lots of directories available as tools for the accessibility to these information, such as Archie, Hytelnet, Gopher, WAIS, World-Wide Web, and others, like TopNode database, OCLC`s NetFirst, which are all based on the traditional library searching approaches. The main purpose of this paper is trying to find the way suitable for processing these new kind of information resources from the librarianships bibliographic control viewpoint and paper is composed of 8 parts: scope and definition of networked information resources, reasons to managing this kind of resources from library`s viewpoints, changes to the bibliographic control environment, operating procedures, problems from bibliographic control on networked resources, future noticeable directions and effects, changes to the future bibliographic control working jobs, and the conclusion.
