    Abstract: 本研究旨在探討學習物件後設資料(Metadata)標準的相關研究與應用問題,包括:(1)學習物件後設資料的範圍,(2)學習物件後設資料國際標準的選擇,(3)台灣地區的需求研究,以及應用國際標準的方法。本文首先以文獻探討方式,剖析國際間數位學習相關標準,據以推論與建議重要的後設資料標準;其次,以個案研究法就教育部教學資源網計畫,探究台灣學習物件後設資料之需求,並輔以國際標準的參照;最後,使用後設資料應用特徵檔方法,發展學習物件後設資料「標準應用規範」與「系統發展需求指引」作為研究成果,供教育部推動後續教學資源整合資訊平台建置的後設資料規範與準則。
