Abstract:	本書的主題為「戰國時代的古史記憶」，旨在探討戰國時代的人對過去的記憶以及他們如何記憶過去等問題。此研究涉及傳世文獻與出土文獻，範圍甚廣。這方面研究的先驅是顧頡剛，因此在緒論中，除了對西方的記憶研究以及兩岸學者的引介作一簡述，還要對顧頡剛史學觀點中可與當代記憶研究接軌的「古史觀」研究概念與「移置」之說作進一步介紹。本書主要內容為「虞夏之際的古史記憶」，談虞代記憶的建構，以及虞夏之際最重要的人物鯀、禹、啟記憶的建構等。這些問題從古史辨時期以來不斷有學者以新材料與新觀點進行研究，本書也將透過出土戰國文獻材料帶來的啟發重新檢視之，並提出新的解釋。
