    Title: 探索全球生物科技產業知識領域屬性、知識來源與影響力

    Abstract: 過去資源基礎觀點(Resource-Based View, RBV)強調以企業之「資源位置」取代傳統 的產品觀點，做為擬定企業策略之方向。據此觀點，企業必須創造與把握資源的優勢情 境，在管理上強化資源效率，使其所累積及培養的資源優勢，為競爭者無法直接或間接 取得，而形成長期且持續的競爭優勢(Wernerfelt，1984)。然而 RBV 僅將知識視為一般 性資源，並未加以描述知識之特徵，並且亦未對知識進行種類之區分。 目前全球生物科技產業正處於快速成長、高度競爭的階段。生物科技是一種跨領域 知識整合度極高之科技領域，其本質、內涵與應用層面相當廣泛。本研究主張應以知識 基礎觀點(Knowledge-Based View, KBV)，著眼於以知識為基礎之競爭優勢，並且將知識 視為最主要的競爭資源(Grant，1995、1996，Spender，1996)，較適用於探討生物科技知 識價值之議題。知識乃是一種經過系統化、結構化之直覺、經驗與事實。技術知識組成 之元素可包含資訊(information)、科技(technology)、關鍵技術(know how)及技巧(skill)； 藉由技術知識不但可增加產品價值，並且進一步取得產業競爭優勢。技術知識是企業核 心競爭優勢的關鍵性資產(Prahalad, Hamel, 1990; Garud, Nayyar, 1994)。技術知識可以改 變產業結構，進而影響企業在產業中之競爭地位。尤以生物科技產業為技術知識複雜度 高且非常跨領域的產業，其本質與內涵與其他科技有所不同，故，本研究以知識基礎觀 點將知識視為重要資源，用以探討全球生物科技產業之知識領域屬性、來源與影響力。 本研究運用專利計量分析，基於知識基礎觀點探討全球生物科技產業之知識領域屬 性(Knowledge Attributes)、知識來源(Knowledge Sourcing)與知識影響力(Knowledge Impact)。並且進一步將領域知識屬性分別以知識複雜度(Knowledge Complexity)、專門度 (Knowledge Specificity)、技術相似度(Knowledge Similarity)等三個構面分類定義及衡量 之。
