    Abstract: 在急速失憶的當代社會，千萬別任由流光淹沒了認識這些好書的機緣，在滑膩了無聊資訊頁面的某天，請來點書。范銘如教授，四十篇文學文化評論，最新結集！所謂書評職人，讀寫不只為推薦，更要有「被討厭的勇氣」；作為文學守門人，在文學愈是低迷的世道中，愈要展現文學研究的能量。本書乃「閱讀這一行」的專業職人、學者范銘如，跨幅十四年的文學批評與時代觀察，書寫背景自新世紀社會轉型數位化起，所讀所思之結集，筆端呈顯出台灣文壇轉變的時代軌跡——文學理論由盛而衰、文學市場由衰而竭、書評版面每況愈下、長篇小說取代了短篇小說、文學主力世代由六七年級全面接班等等現象。收錄三類文章：「書評與序」，奉行文本中心的批評家，一一細膩解讀作品，直剖優缺，並宏觀評價諸位作家在當代文學場域的特殊位置；「時代現象」，以文學評論視角談論文學生態與潮流，分析年度小說風貌；「空間理論」，一系列淺顯直白的觀念說明，建構空間與文本、閱讀的關係。書評一直都不是熱門的文類，面對閱讀產業的式微，它從紙媒轉往網媒開展、從5000字演化到500字篇幅；然作為一種公眾文化服務，書評職人們努力運用各種管道傳遞文學的聲音依然不減——來、點、書、吧！
