    Abstract: 本書以臺灣為主體，緊扣當前局勢，爬梳歷史脈絡，是一本期望以理性思辨經濟方面及社會方面的論文集。在經濟面，近期影響全球局勢的美中貿易戰，於臺灣是危機亦是轉機，臺商該如何應變？深入至臺灣內部，經濟發展呈現兩極化趨勢，政府應有何作為？一例一休的勞資衝突，從制度變革到產業界立場，提出產業／勞工政策的建言。在社會面，臺灣是一個民主自由的國家，存在多元的意識形態。其中衝突的類型，以政治立場為首要，如何從內在／外在機制的影響出發，解決各種長期對立的僵局？世界各國推動轉型正義的過程中，阻力總大於助力，反顧臺灣自身，也有關於國族建構及群體想像等課題需要面對。同時，臺灣也正經歷少子女化及高齡化，社會永續發展的關鍵，除了高等教育及民間運動，亦關乎社會企業。　內容涵蓋臺灣面臨的多樣議題，適合所有關心臺灣經濟與社會發展的讀者及研究者閱讀。
