Abstract:	社交媒体上的人类活动形成了大数据资料库，吸引了社会科学研究的注意力，造就了大量的研究和讨论。本文针对社交媒体大数据分析在方法上和概念上所面对的迷思和挑战，提出大数据具有其技术存有论之基础，参与了现实的构造，进而造就了当下的社会人类。文章进一步提出可探讨的关键议题，如“数据需要海量的大吗”“数据分析是量化研究方法吗”以及“传播研究应该如何用数据来说故事”等等，进一步厘清究竟应该如何通过社交媒体上的流动数据来进行社会科学研究，以实际行动来增进研究者在这一领域的分析能力。
