As people become more active on the social platform, the transmission of messages becomes more and more difficult to distinguish between true and false. Therefore, how to help social media users to identify fake news and reduce the spread of fake news is becoming more and more important. This research aims to solve the spread of fake news on social platforms with collective intelligence. This study uses Chrome extension and blockchain to prevent fake news on the existing social platform as Facebook, and process users votes, then records them on the blockchain. After a large number of ratings, it determines whether the post is a credible post and judges the credibility of messages sent by different media to prevent fake news delivery.

The interviewees include news reporter, curator and general user. After the researcher operates the system in front of them, the interviewees are asked to evaluate whether the system help to prevent the spread of fake news in social media.

Most of the feedback from interviewees, we received for this research, confirm that the system architecture designed by this research is feasible. Other future work to make this research more complete, includes the issuance cryptocurrency to encourage more users to participate or drive high-quality news produce, and establishing a content management system to let the media know about issues that are currently being watched.
