    Abstract: 本論文旨在探討企業的社會責任行為對社會輿論的影響,且主要是以媒體輿論為主,並以美國高科技產業為研究對象。近年來,企業社會責任(CSR) 以及ESG(Environmental,Social,Governance) 的概念受到廣泛關注。儘管目前企業認知到,CSR是非常重要的議題,但企業仍然無法掌握需將資源投入在何種CSR 活動中。本篇論文的研究問題,即在試圖釐清,企業在產業內的CSR 趨勢下,採取什麼樣的CSR行為,會如何影響媒體輿論。且更進一步,研究在何時採取(和同產業競爭者相比而言),是否會帶來不同的社會輿論效果。本篇研究提供了有關企業CSR行為與媒體輿論之間關係的證據:即企業如果僅是從事與產業內趨勢相符的CSR活動,特別是環境類別,可能難以獲得額外的正面媒體評價,且企業應該避免成為產業內CSR趨勢的追隨者。總結而言,本研究結果有助於企業在制定和執行CSR策略時做出明智的決策。
