In recent years, entrepreneurship has been a popular topic of discussion, with many studies exploring the factors of successful entrepreneurship. While some research has focused on the adaptability of different industries, there has been relatively less discussion regarding serial entrepreneurs, with most emphasis placed on comparing their performance with novice entrepreneurs. Previous studies have shown that there is not a significant difference in performance between these two groups. Consequently, examining the identity of serial entrepreneurs solely based on performance becomes meaningless.
Therefore, this study aims to explore the significant processes experienced by serial entrepreneurs in their multiple entrepreneurial endeavors and analyze these experiences. Recognizing the thriving trend of entrepreneurship in recent years, gaining a deeper understanding of the journey of serial entrepreneurs through this research will prove beneficial for aspiring entrepreneurs in new ventures.
Qualitative research techniques will be employed in this study, primarily utilizing interviews as the data collection method. The research subjects will consist of serial entrepreneurs with whom in-depth interviews will be conducted to delve into their pivotal events, turning points, and learning experiences throughout their multiple entrepreneurial journeys. These interviews will provide us with profound insights into the trajectories of serial entrepreneurs.
Qualitative analysis will be applied to the interview data to identify common themes, patterns, and trends. Through this analysis, we aim to develop an understanding of the significant processes that serial entrepreneurs undergo during their multiple entrepreneurial experiences.
The anticipated results of this study will offer valuable insights to enhance our understanding of the journey of serial entrepreneurs. It will provide valuable references and guidance for entrepreneurs engaged in new ventures, thereby increasing their chances of success in the entrepreneurial process.
