Abstract:	Национальная специфика языковой картины мира объективно выявляется путём анализа ключевых слов, важных и показательных лексических единиц для данной культуры. В данной статье рассматривается одно из ключевых слов, отражающих русскую картину мира, авось. Описывается лексическое понятие и лексический фон слова авось, выявляются семантические компоненты, значимые для понимания данного слова. В статье также проводится сопоставление слова авось с его китайским аналогом, показывается различие в их семантике, что способствует выявлению семантической специфики слова. This paper aims to explore one of the Russian key words, "авось" (usually translated in English as "perhaps", "maybe"), which reflects the Russian worldview. The author focuses on the analysis of both lexical concept and lexical background of the word "авось" to expose the semantic components, significant for further and deep understanding of this word. In this paper, the author also compares the Russian word "авось" with its analogs in Chinese language to show the divergence in semantics. This comparison could assist in accentuating the semantic features of the Russian key word "авось".
