    Title: 測不到的誤差：訪員執行訪問時的偏誤

    Abstract: 本文之目的乃在探索訪員在我們的社會中執行調查時比較常見的偏誤並推測其成因、歸納可能的改善方法。作者利用政大選舉研究中心電話訪問時督導監聽錄音以及面訪訪員的訪問報告，分析其中訪員在執行訪問時所犯的偏誤。主要的發現與建議是：第一，訪員在訪問中實際上犯的錯誤，可能比我們想像的要多。研究計畫主持人都應該在計畫預試與正式執行的階段，親自到訪問的現場主持，這樣對自己處理的資料才會有比較真實的理解。第二，電話訪問時，訪員最感困難的是在與受訪者剛接觸的階段。較不熟練的訪員尤其容易在此階段犯錯；在面訪中，訪員最困擾的是受訪者以外的人在場。這種情形很多，通常不易處理。訪訓時的充分演練是必須的。第三，大部份我們可以察覺的訪員執行偏誤，源於訪員技巧的生疏。這是可以透過訪訓的加強改善的。除了舉辦比較完整的訪訓之外，較周詳的訪員手冊，可以補訪訓之不足。編寫這樣的訪員手冊，值得從事調查訪問的同仁們，在每個計畫中鄭重考慮。
