    Title: 性犯罪者的「自負特質」與再犯因子的關係

    Abstract: Baumeister等人回顧一系列攻擊行為的研究中發現,「自負特質」(Egotism)者若面對外在評價遠低於自我評價的情境時,可能會針對外在評價來源者產生憤怒情緒,因而增加攻擊行為發生的危險性。同時他也發現自戀特質與性犯罪之間具有關聯性,個體的自戀狀態易使其過度高估自己,當被拒絕時,極易導致自我調控的失敗,在情緒上會以表露敵意與憤怒為主,在行為上則傾向對拒絕者做出反擊,目的是回復被貶抑的自尊並獲得對他人的象徵性支配。
    本研究的主要目的是以Baumeister的觀點編製「情境式自負特質量表」,並藉以探討於Beech與Ward(2004)所提的危險性病因模式下,自負特質是否比自戀特質更能預測性犯罪者的攻擊行為與再犯?
    本研究自編的情境式自負特質量表的信度為.98,顯示其具有良好的內部一致性,在效度分析上,本量表與效標量表間也具有高度的相關。經由因素分析之後,支持Baumeister(1996)的假設,亦即自負特質的內涵包括「易受傷害的-敏感的」、「誇大的-愛表現的」與「自尊的不穩定」等特性,而且在外界評價遠低於有利自評的威脅情境下,此種特質更為突顯。
    在攻擊行為與自我調控能力的預測方面,本研究結果顯示情境式自負特質量表確實比自戀性格量表對攻擊行為與自我調控能力更具解釋力。在針對性犯罪再犯的預測上,自負特質與自戀特質都無法直接與性犯罪再犯評估的結果有關聯,但根據Beech與Ward(2004)的看法,自負特質應可做為性犯罪再犯的心理傾向之一,此心理傾向影響的是性犯罪者的自我調控能力,而自我調控能力又被視為性犯罪再犯因子中的穩定動態因子,當遇到情境的促發因子,則其再犯的風險也就隨之增高了。
