    Abstract:
The main purposes of this study were:
    (1) To explore the situation of the types of adolescents` parent-child triangulation and their interpersonal behaviors.
    (2) To explore the differences in the types of parent-child triangulation and the interpersonal behaviors from adolescents with different background variables.
    (3) To explore the interaction effects of different background variables on the types of adolescents` parent-child triangulation and their interpersonal behaviors.
    (4) To explore the relationship between the types of adolescents` parent-child triangulation and their interpersonal behaviors.
    (5) To explore the prediction of the types of adolescents` parent-child triangulation to their interpersonal behaviors.
    (6) Set up the conclusions of the research, and proposed suggestions as the reference for the practitioners and the future researchers.
To achieve the above purposes, this study adopted a method of questionnaire survey. Adolescents from junior and senior high schools in Keelung were targeted as the population, and 11 schools and 1221 students were selected as the study samples through random sampling. 1145 effective questionnaires were analyzed as research data. Instruments used in this study were "Basic Information Inventory", "Triangle Operation in Parental Quarrels Scale" and "Interpersonal Behavior Scale". Data obtained in this study were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, one-way ANCOVA, two-way ANOVA, two-way ANCOVA, three-way MANOVA, three-way MANCOVA, Pearson`s product-moment correlation, canonical correlation and multiple stepwise regressions.
The main findings of this study were as follows:
    1. Currently, the degree of adolescents` scapegoat, cross-generational coalition and parentification was middle.
    2. Currently, the frequency of adolescents` emancipate, affirm, active love, protect, control, blame, attack and ignore behaviors was middle.

    3. Adolescents with different gender, age and birth order made significan differences to the types of parent-child triangulation.
    4. There were statistically significant interaction effects between adolescents` gender and birth order on the types of parent-child triangulation. However, there was no statistically significant interaction effect between adolescents` gender and age on the types of parent-child triangulation, and neither did adolescents` age and birth order.
    5. Adolescents with different gender, age and birth order made statistically significant differences to their interpersonal behaviors.
    6. There were statistically significant interaction effects between adolescents` gender and birth order on the interpersonal behaviors. However, there was no statistically significant interaction effect between adolescents` gender and age on the interpersonal behaviors, and neither did adolescents` age and birth order.
    7. Adolescents from different social-economic status made no statistically significant difference to the types of parent-child triangulation and their interpersonal behaviors.
    8. There were significant product-moment correlations among adolescents` age, the types of parent-child triangulation and the interpersonal behaviors.
    9. There were significantly canonical correlations among adolescents` age, the types of parent-child triangnlation and the interpersonal behaviors.
    10. Because of the difference of adolescents` gender, the prediction of the age and the parent-child triangnlation to the inteipersonal behaviors would be different.
According to the results of this study, the researcher would like to propose some specific suggestions to schools, families, the society and the followers who would like to devote themselves to some relating studies.
