    Title: 大眾傳播媒介與社會運動：一個議題傳散模式的初探──以宜蘭反六輕設廠運動之新聞報導為例

    Abstract: 本研究的研究目的是從議題傳散(Diffusion of issues) 的觀點，探究大眾傳播媒介在社會運動之中的角色。首先，本研究由大眾傳播媒介與社會運動的相關理論及文獻，建構出一個「議題傳散的結構模式」，此一模式在於說明:社會運動參與者和媒介互動之下，議題傳散過程以及兩者間的結構關係。論文的第二部份是以此一模式為理論基礎，探討報紙對於「蘭陽地區反六輕運動」之報導的個案研究。綜合理論建構的模式與實證研究的發現，在結論部分本研究提出一個議題傳散的動態模式，試圖以議題傳散的動態模式擬定出五個狀況(Conditions)，說明在媒介議題傳散的過程之中，新聞媒體與社會運動過程之中可能存在的動態關係。五個狀況分別如下: 狀況一:基本而言，事件的抗爭者是以特別對象媒介通道為主要媒介近用對象，事件界定者是以一般對象媒介通道為主要媒介近用對象，事情評論者制度化程度愈高愈易於近用一般對象媒介通道。狀況二:社會抗爭的激化有利於事件抗爭者近用一般對象媒介通道，社會抗爭的緩和有利於事件界定者近用特別對象媒介通道，亦有利於事件評論者近用不同的媒介通道。狀況三:對抗性議題的傳散須藉由社會衝突的激發，使得議題由特別對象媒介通道擴散至一般對象媒介通道。狀況四:事件抗爭者的媒介事件作為，促使反對性議題由特別對會媒介通道擴散至一般對象媒介通道。狀況五:防衛性議題的共鳴現象首先發生在社會運動的初動後期，使得議題由一般對象媒介通道傳散至特別對象媒介通道。
