Abstract:	本書結合不涉及正式模型的研究方式，運用超邊際分析、政治經濟學、比較經濟學、國際經濟學等探討經濟激進轉型策略，以中東歐國家為中心分析概念，藉由理論探索、個案實證研析和多面向反思深入掌握所謂中東歐激進轉型模式，歸納比較各國經濟轉型歷程，並分析其未來經濟轉型前景。一九八九年中東歐制度變遷式轉型，在激進轉型策略基本指導原則下，已建立一個部份均衡經濟，但隨後各種要素影響，將逐漸架構出另一種新均衡，以產生經濟永續發展與成長狀況。由其轉型經驗所獲得之最重要啟示：經濟轉型為極複雜的經濟社會重建過程，任何理論在實際運用過程中，仍須配合國情修正，換言之，並未存在最佳經濟轉型模式，實務上僅有所謂最適經濟轉型模式。
