    Abstract: 縣政的推行，經緯萬端，但從空間規劃的角度來看，城鄉發展的遠景與藍圖應該有明確的努力目標。在二十一世紀全球化生產網絡的重新分工、國際化生活環境的均衡建設及地方化生態(文化)環境的發覺重生等趨勢下，台北縣城鄉發展架構應涵蓋二十九個鄉鎮的核心發展、軸線串連及及地區經營管理等概念。爰此，我們彙整出北縣在城鄉空間涵構上有關基礎建設、產業環境、交通建設、防災系統、遊憩資源及生態保護等六個向度挑戰，並期以長期管理、區域優勢、城鄉基盤、城鄉網絡、安全家園、多元休閒、及城鄉風貌等的創造與展現，建構北縣六大地區好生活的基礎！
