本研究，一方面建立經濟計量模型，分析北美自由貿易區(NAFTA)成立對中加雙邊貿易之影響 以及中加成立自由貿易區之經濟效益，另一方面應用一多國多部門之一般均衡模型，分析美洲 國家成立自由貿易區(FTAA)對我國經濟之影響，並探討我國與中美洲國家成立自由貿易區之經濟效益與可行性。This study, on the one hand, construct an econometric model to investigate the impact of NAFTA on bilateral trade between Taiwan and Canada as well as the e3conomic benefits from a Taiwan-Canada Free Trade Arrangement. On the other hand, a multi-region and multi-sector general equilibrium model is employed to examine the impact of economic integration on Taiwan and the economic benefits and feasibility of signing a free trade areas agreement with countries in Central America.
