    Abstract: 地主國對外國廠商之直接投資往往設有限制，其中以自製率最為常見，本研究之主要目的即試圖從理論的角度來探討最適自製率之訂定及其影響因素。由本文之結果得知，在本國對外國廠商設有外銷比例之規定且無自製率限制時，本國政府採取微量的自製率限制將有扶植本國零件產業之功能；然而，在既定之自製率限制下，進一步提高自製率時，是否具有進一步扶植本國零件產業之功能，須視本國零件價格之高低而定。又當本國所規定之外銷比例或本國零件價格愈高時，本國所訂定之最適自製率應愈低；反之，當世界其他國家之最終財價格或本國最終財市場規模愈大時，本國所訂定之最適自製率應愈高。最後，在最適自製率下，提高外銷比例將有提升貿易餘額與本國福利水準之功能。
