    Abstract: 詩歌裡的意象，是詩旨、創作者心靈和語言風格的呈現，有些意象經過時間性的累積和重覆，形成固定的象徵，這些具有「原型」意義的意象，在當代詩歌裡出現時，也會隱然牽動古老而永恆的意義結構。然而若將「月亮」視作一種「符號」（sign），可鬆動其固定的意義，索緒爾說明語言是約定俗成的，文字與對像之間不必然是對等的關係，可能只是獨斷的行為，「符號」一詞較能呈現意義詮釋的建構。羅蘭．巴特進而指出符號的「表義/深義」，它能暗示出詞語表面之下的關係物、類推物，聯擊著使用符號者的存在，牽涉了意識型態和文化對符號的建構作用。因此，要考究一個意象的所有意義，語境與時代文化必須加入討論。本計畫研究將對像限定在台灣新生代女性詩作，將從語言變異來窺探出主體認同在詩歌表現上的情況。性別認同在當代呈現多元化發展，對傳統男尊女卑的依循與反抗皆具，也有拋開性別對抗、直接置入主體形塑，並時而可見在意象運用上「偷渡」性別權力。克莉絲蒂娃曾提出詩的書寫可讓主體拒絕「象徵界」（the symbolic）的規範，進而讓壓抑在潛意識的慾望的「記號界」（the semiotic）發聲，如此一來，「符號」可轉換成個體的「記號」。有鑑於此，單一意象的研究便有了撐構當代女性書寫的語言結構縱深，並釐清女性主體性的建立，同時能描繪新生代女性書寫的當代性風貌。
