| Abstract: | 《四庫全書總目》編成以後，學者多視其為具有目錄性質的工具文獻，甚或讀書的門徑，直至清末則有不同的評價。無論為何，《總目》代表十八世紀後期中國官方學術的總成。 《總目》研究約有兩個取向：一為文獻考據取向，包括《總目》內容的辨證、補撰、刊誤、續修；二為文獻詮釋取向，包括自學術思想、史學、文學諸視域出發，詮釋《總目》隱含的觀念，或考察《總目》編纂的歷程。整體說來，前一研究較為興盛，成果亦多豐碩。事實上，在《總目》內容中，除了考據資料外，館臣對於書籍作者與內容的敘述、評價，都飽含了當代的歷史意識、學術立場、政教關懷等等質素，因此，從文化視野重新觀看《總目》，自有其必要性。又從文學研究的角度來說，《總目》的文學史、文學批評史敘述與評價，部分已經沉澱為我們對於歷史的前理解，可是在文學史、文學批評史、文學思想史的研究著作中，對於《總目》的掌握尚且薄弱。因此，本計畫應可豐富《四庫》學在研究上的深度與廣度，並反饋文學史、文學批評史、文學思想史等學門，在研究方法、視角、題材上的操作經驗，以及知識內容。 本計畫乃延續個人過去研究成果，主要通過不同階段〈提要〉的比對、追蹤，進一步探索館臣文學思想形成的歷程，此可與從文學外部研究《總目》編纂過程的成果，相互補充、發明。 Since "Si ku quan shu zong mu" was published, scholars took it as a bibliographical tool and a threshold of the knowledge. This kind of evaluation was lasting until the late Qing period. No matter what, "Si ku quan shu zong mu" represented the sum up of the Chinese Official Academic in the late 18th century. The main research directions of "Si ku quan shu zong mu" are (1) Textual: including identification, mend and revise; (2) Explanatory: including concept interpretation and examining the editorial process in philosophical, historical and literary aspects. In general, the researches in textual are more popular and have more achievements. However, it is important to review "Si ku quan shu zong mu" with the literary viewpoint. For example, the curators` comments and evaluation to the authors and the articles embrace the valuable and important contemporary historical track. Thought, part of literary historical and literary critical researches in "Si ku quan shu zong mu" have became as the interpretation of the history, we are still weak in handling the literary historical, literary critical and literary philosophical researches in "Si ku quan shu zong mu". Thus, this project should deepen and broaden the research in "Si ku quan shu zong mu". Furthermore, it can assist other research fields, such as literary history, literary critical history and literary philosophy, in material, viewpoints and research methodologies. The aim of this research is to view the authors’ literary concept in "Si ku quan shu zong mu". That would extend my past research by means of tracing hints, and to understand the development of the literary concept "Si ku quan shu zong mu". |
