    Abstract: 雖然以「FDI 之投資動機或型態」以及「FDI 對投資國就業量之影響」為探討主題的文獻相當多，然而以「投資動機或型態」作為出發點來探討FDI 對投資國就業量之影響的研究，卻極為少見。尤其是以FDI 之型態的不同，來探討台灣廠商海外投資對其在國內之勞動雇用量的影響的文獻，更是付諸闕如。因此針對過去文獻上的缺失以及台灣所面臨之對外投資現況，本研究將設立一理論模型，分別針對不同FDI 之投資型態下，探討海外投資對投資國國內就業量之影響，並以「台灣製造業對外投資實況調查」之panel data 作實證分析，以驗證理論之有效性並提出政策上的建議。
