    Abstract: 詳實的森林資源調查為擬定森林資源經營計畫所必須，然而森林面積廣闊，且有許多分佈於偏遠或人力難以到達之處，因此需藉助於航、遙測科技，以便於短期間內獲取大面積之森林資源資料，林務局即曾成功的運用航遙測技術於歷次台灣森林資源及土地利用調查。近年來航遙測科技進展迅速，遙測影像之空間解析力、光譜解析力均大幅提升，雷達與光達更具有測繪三維空間模型之能力，然而台灣之地形崎嶇，森林茂密，各種遙測技術仍有其應用上之限制。本研究擬以棲蘭山林區與福山試驗林為研究試區，蒐集多源遙測資料，包括：衛星影像、航照影像、光達掃瞄資料等，以瞭解不同遙測資料於森林資源調查之應用潛力與限制，以及結合多源遙測資料以提升資料分析結果之精度的可行性。主要研究目的有四：(1)以影像融合技術提高影像解析力，並評估不同影像分類方法應用於針葉林、闊葉林之分類準確度；(2)比較以數位航測技術及光達掃瞄資料測繪林分三維模型之準確度，以及研究如何提高以航測與光達估測林分高度之準確度；(3) 以地面光達建立林地三維模型，並精確估測立木材積；(4)探討如何結合衛星影像、航照影像、光達掃瞄資料，以達到彼此互補，並提高以遙測資料推估林分結構及林木蓄積量之準確度。
