    Abstract: 此項兩年期計劃擬探討臺灣集團企業產品範疇之變化. 目前我已收集臺灣集團企業1996及2000年的產品多角化變化情形, 並初步進行分析.
    My project aims to trace the change of product scopes of Taiwanese business groups and its performance implication. So far, I have collected the data for the years of 1996, 2000, 2002 and conducted some initial analyses. Due to the difficulty of coding the product scope for business groups, the data collection has been taking more time than I expected. I plan to continue to collect earlier data and hope to begin to write the first draft as soon as the data are collected. I explain my current progress in greater details as follows.
