Title:	在Google Earth平台上建立政大校區建物之三維模型

Abstract:	資訊科技日新月異，地圖不再受限於以往的二維紙圖，也可結合電腦視覺，以三維虛擬實境的方式呈現。如今人們只要在Google Earth平台上，即可看到世界各地的衛星影像或航攝影像，一般人很容易就能接觸到這些資訊；最近幾年加入在平台上觀看三維建物的功能，也只要利用Google SketchUp軟體，或其它方式，建立地表上真實建物的三維模型，上傳通過審核後，就可以在Google Earth平台上展示三維建築物。然而政大校區內的建築物，在Google 3D模型庫中，並沒有相關的模型，更無法在Google Earth上展示。因此，本計畫利用Google開發的SketchUp軟體建模，即可於Google Earth平台上展示，讓全球各地的使用者，透過使用Google Earth，從電腦前就能觀看政大的建築物，藉此亦可提升政治大學的國際化形象。
