Abstract:	條件獨立檢定可以應用於迴歸分析的變數選擇，或是檢驗兩個時間序列是否有Granger non-causality 的關係。雖然條件獨立檢定的方法有用，但是對隨機變數為連續的情形，研究結果相對較少。目前已有的檢定方法中，有些以是條件機率密度函數的距離，或是條件特徵函數的距離作為根據，有些是在假設變數為常態分佈的情況下可用。這些檢定方法有個缺點，就是在變數個別作一對一轉換時不具有不變性，而這項性質在定義變數間(非線性)相關性度量時是個很自然的要求。在這個計畫中，提出以條件相關性度量作為根據，來做條件獨立的檢定。這樣的條件相關性度量要具有一對一轉換時的不變性，以及其他的好性質。預計可以將已有的(非條件)相關性度量及獨立檢定結果作合適的推廣，來建立上述的條件相關性度量和條件獨立檢定。
