    Abstract: 本計畫擬以三年期時間，整理台灣電影過去60 年來影像風格與產製環境之變遷趨勢與脈絡。我們所採用的研究模式，源自美國電影學者David Bordwell 等三人在他們的鉅著The Classical Hollywood Cinema 所建構的模式。在他們的研究裡，他們從1917 年到1960 年間好萊塢生產近3 萬部影片中，隨機選取100 部影片做為分析樣本，透過內容分析法與論述分析法等研究論述，他們對這些樣本影片作精密閱讀分析，從而整理出好萊塢電影之影像風格與產製模式的各種典型。本計畫將依循同樣的模式，試圖探究台灣電影的影像風格，以及台灣電影的產製模式，是否可以建立某種典型？而這些典型又是否能夠反映其中的歷史變遷？我們將從這 60 年所生產之 4045 部影片中，隨機選取202 部為分析樣本，同時比照Bordwell 等人的做法，訂定影片分析類目，以進行資料登錄(data coding)。需要說明的是，我們不會一廂情願地認為台灣電影會跟好萊塢一樣，有著一貫的影像風格與產製模式。我們相信短短60 年的台灣電影發展歷程中，各個時期之間的斷裂與差異，可能更勝於彼此之間的同質性。正因為如此，Bordwell 等人發展的研究模式更有參照的必要，我們才得以藉此探討台灣電影在不同時期，是如何延續與轉變影像風格與產製環境。預計每一年的研究進度告一段落時，我們將透過研討會發表研究成果，以就教於電影先進。同時在三年研究計畫結束時，我們將會把所有資料彙整出書，為台灣電影資料庫增添更紮實的材料。
